SL Fashion and General Modeling Information

*FS* Jewelry Design, will be holding a monthly contest for Model of the Month, leading up to the Model of the Year Contest at the end of 12 months.

***ALL CONTESTANTS MUST WEAR *FS* JEWELRY DESIGN JEWELRY IN THEIR PHOTOS (no free or discounted items allowed)***

** The Model of the Month contest will be by vote.

** The Model of the Year contest, with a top prize of L$20,000, will be juried, no votes.

** This contest is open to men and women. All entries must be human.

**Beginning November 17, 2009, we will be accepting photos for the contest starting November 1st. You may enter them on the board at the *FS* Jewelry Design main store at any time during this week.
voting start at 12:00am, and run for 10 days ending on December 17, 2009, at 11:59pm. The winner will be announced right after the contest ends.

Prizes:

1st prize: L$5000 and one photograph for an ad with *FS* Jewerly Design.

2nd prize: L$2000

3rd prize: L$1000

All contestants will receive a Birthstone Necklace representing the month of the contest.

Rules:

PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY, ALL RULES MUST BE OBSERVED!!!

1. All contestant entries must feature jewelry from *FS* Jewelry Design. (no freebies or discount room items please).

2. THE PHOTOGRAPH MUST ME PROFESSIONAL AND HIGH QUALITY. Please be creative and feature the jewelry as if you were to use it in a store ad.

3. No nudity, swimsuits or lingerie.

4. Models winning in one of the 12 months are not elegible for the remaining months of competition.

5. L$20 per vote, 5 votes per av, per day. No refunds of moneys put into the contest.

6. The contest host’s decisions are always final and there is no discussion about their decisions.

JOINING

You can join for free by touching one of the unused photo boards.

The photo board will try to load your profile picture and display it. Once loaded, you can now change it by loading another photo/texture into it. In order to do that, hold down the CTRL key and drag a picture from your inventory onto the photo board while holding down the left mouse button. The frame will highlight to red and you can release the left mouse button. The picture/texture has to be FULLPERM (also for next owner – see bottom of properties page) due to technical reasons.
If done properly the picture will be displayed and the photo board changes to voting mode.

CHANGING YOUR PICTURE

Changing your picture

To change your picture, touch the sign and you will receive a menu with some options:

– Load Picture: Changes the photo board to picture loading mode. Update your picture by following the instructions above.

Touch to keep the picture and to proceed to voting mode again. (This will happen automatically after 2 minutes as well).

- Profile Picture: Tries to load you profile picture onto the photo board. After that it will change to the “Picture Loading mode”. Touch to keep the picture and to proceed to voting mode again. (This will happen automatically after 2 minutes as well).

If you have disabled “show in search” in your profile, the system will not be able to
acquire your profile picture. On change it will take up to 24 hours until it will be available.

– Close Menu: Closes the menu with no action

– Abandon: Abandon will close the photo board and remove yourself from the contest.

VOTING –

L$20 per vote, 5 votes per av, per day (no refunds)

The board will tell you how many votes you have remaining, each time you vote.

You cannot vote for yourself with this system. The money will be returned to you if you attempt to vote for yourself.

We are not responsible for the amount of money you put into this contest. There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS.
